useIdle

Requirements

• Export useIdle(timeout = 60000) as named and default. Return a boolean: false initially, then true after timeout milliseconds without supported activity.
• Listen on window for pointerdown, pointermove, keydown, scroll, and touchstart. Any such event immediately sets idle to false and starts a fresh full timeout, even when already active.
• Changing timeout resets to active and restarts the deadline. Zero timeout means idle on the next timer turn rather than during render. Inputs are finite numbers from 0 to 2147483647; invalid input validation is outside scope.
• Keep only one pending timer per hook instance. Clean up the timer and every listener on unmount or effect replacement. React Strict Mode effect replay must not leak listeners or timers.
• Keep instances independent. Return false during server rendering without accessing window during render. Passive listeners are appropriate because activity must not block scrolling.
• Browser background timer throttling, cross-tab coordination, and visibility-specific behavior are outside scope. Tests use a deterministic clock and React rendering helpers.
