useCycle

Requirements

• Export useCycle as both a named and default export. Call it only from a React component or another hook.
• Accept the sequence as separate arguments; an array can be passed using spread syntax. Return [currentValue, cycle].
• Start at the first value. Calling cycle() moves forward one position and wraps after the last value. State changes become visible on the next React render.
• Several cycle calls in the same event must each advance the position. Previously saved cycle functions must also operate on the latest state.
• With no values, return undefined as the current value and a safe no-op cycle function. A one-value sequence always returns that value.
• Preserve every value, including duplicates, falsy values, object/array references, and functions. Do not mutate or copy values, and do not invoke function-valued items.
• Keep separate hook instances independent and preserve the position on unrelated rerenders. The input sequence remains fixed for the mounted instance; replacing it dynamically is outside this challenge.
• The TypeScript version must accept mixed value types and expose a correctly typed tuple. cycle() takes no arguments and returns void. Stable function identities and memoized result tuples are not required.

Examples

Input: useCycle("red", "green", "amber")
Output: Initially "red"; successive cycle calls yield "green", "amber", then "red".

Input: useCycle(0, false, ""); call cycle() twice in one event
Output: The current value becomes "" after React renders.

Input: useCycle()
Output: [undefined, cycle], where cycle safely does nothing.
