Promise.withResolvers

Requirements

• Implement promiseWithResolvers(), returning an ordinary object with exactly three own enumerable properties: promise, resolve, and reject.
• promise is a fresh native Promise, initially pending. resolve and reject are callable immediately after the factory returns and work when detached from the returned object.
• resolve(value) follows native Promise resolution: preserve ordinary values, adopt promises and thenables, and reject when thenable access or invocation throws. Calling resolve() fulfills with undefined.
• reject(reason) preserves the exact rejection reason. Only the first resolve/reject call takes effect, even if resolving adopts a pending promise. Promise handlers run asynchronously.
• Every factory invocation creates independent state. Use the native Promise constructor, but do not call Promise.withResolvers or replace the global Promise API. Generic custom constructors and subclass support are outside scope.

Examples

Input: const { promise, resolve } = promiseWithResolvers(); resolve(42); await promise;
Output: 42

Input: const { promise, reject } = promiseWithResolvers(); reject("failed");
Output: promise rejects with "failed".
